Hi all. New to the forum. Apologies if this is already answered but I did a search and couldn't find it.
There is a 7341 that has been left standing for a number of years I would like working again. The first thing of course is to fit a new battery, but the original has been removed. I tried a conventional battery and it turns over slowly but wont start.
Does anyone know for sure the battery type needed? Google is coming up with different answers.
Any other help and advice in getting this beauty started
also appreciated.
Many thanks.
Colin

If it's been idle for a few years, of course it will be slow to start. You would want a good, well charged up battery to allow plenty of time to turn over and pump up the diesel as well.

To put a new battery in it, you will need a 622 follow this link.

Update: The engine is running nicely now. Thank you so much. There are other issues now but I'll search for answers before posting a new thread.
:)
