7711 pulling bad to right

I have a 7711 with the power assist ram. It is pulling bad to the right. You can't let go of the wheel if you do its going to pull right! I can't figure out how to adjust the ram to make it stop pulling. Can anyone please help? Thanks in advance for any help.
 
jack up front end off the ground. at the end of the ram pointing to the cab there is a clamp. loosen it and turn the piston i dont remember if its clockwise or anti clickwise but when you do it right the wheels will straighten
 
I can't get the piston to turn. Should it take a lot of force to turn it?
