I have a 7745 that the hydraulics stopped working on. I have always used the 80/90wt oil in it and had no problems even in cold weather. Nite before last I checked it and was a little low so I added a gallon. Next morning(20 deg F) and now no hydraulics at all. This is very thick oil for this temp but like I said before, it has never been a problem. It almost seems as if the pump is not running. Any chance the heavy oil broke something? Any other advice greatly appreciated. Thanks
First things first, Have you checked that you haven't put the pump out of gear ? There are 2 controls, the left lever on the floor which should be forward and the rotating lever in the centre floor under the seat which should be pointing to the left parallel to the bulkhead.Hand clutch must be down.
Yes, I did check those. Even tried putting it in 1000rpm side, but still nothing. Normally, you can hear it whining(probably the relief valve, but not sure) but now I can only hear it a little bit when I raise the lever for the 3pt arms.
