Hi all ,
My 8011 has a bit of a problem & I was wondering if anyone can shed a little light on a fix for it.
If left overnight , when you try to start it , it seems that the diesel has run back towards the tank. The tractor will start, but it splutters for about 5 - 10 seconds & then clears itself.
It will start fine all day after this.
If you give the hand primer a few pumps in the morning before you attempt to start it, it will start perfectly.
As the fuel tank is above the injector pump, I would have thought it wouldn't draw air ?
Anyone come across this before ?
Thanks in advance.
Mark
