8011 first registration in UK. Advice sought

I am attempting to register a 1981 8011 crystal with the DVLA in the United Kingdom.I believe the vehicle may have orignated from Ireland not sure whether it is Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland.
One of the pieces of information that seems to be required is type approval number. Can any one offer any advice.
 
Due to the age of the tractor, the type approval would be much less stringent than today.

I'd call the DVLA and ask for their advice.
