Hi fellas,

I just bought an old rough 8011 2WD. It's been sitting around for a few years unused and I'm going over it to get it ready to go back to work.

I unscrewed the injector oil fill bolt and about a cup full of diesel came out. Then unscrewed the oil drain bolt and the diesel just flows out. Not sure whats going on here......any ideas ?? Any help much appreciated.

The tractor starts and runs well.

Dont worry about it, old pumps tend to get diesel in their sumps.
Just fill with engine oil to the level plug and change it occasionally. Diesel is a reasonable lubricant anyway for a pump.
