Hi all,

Has anybody got any experience adjusting the amount of fuel being delivered by the injector pump ?

I think my 8011 is a tad overfuelled & I would like to try to turn it back a little. It has a 2478 pump & the spill timing has been checked & is spot on.

I have tried adjusting the "screw" on top of the governor box but it will only rotate by a quarter turn & gets stuck, but it doesnt seem to make any difference.

Any pointers ?

Thanks

Mark.

Take off the rear cover of the fuel pump. there is a 22mm lock nut, when you loosen that up, you can adjust the threaded rod with a big screwdriver.

If you are altering the pump setting because of back smoke, check that the air filter is clear, the older Crystals took their air in through the top part of the front grill and I have known one that was full of pieces of straw and hayseeds, also put clean oil in the filter itself

How do i tune up pump with overpressure corrector?
I tried to give my ursus 1134 more fuel today, but it seems like i need to adjust the overpressure corrector to get more power.
Someone who can tell???

Please can you explain what you mean by "overpressure corrector". I'm afraid I have never heard the term.

On top of the speed controller, or regulator as i call it, its fitted a vacum/pressure membran corrector. Between this and the intake pipe there is fitted a small hose.
