When I turn, specially left turn, and the PTO (540rpm) is on there's a loud knocking noice. I sounds like I comes from the gearbox but that doen't make sence to me. When I drive straight ahead the noice goes away. Does anyone know what this is?
i am thinking that if you have a machine on the back, is the tractor drawbar straight with the machines drawbar and pto shaft ?
Offset towing can cause this with any tractor when you turn, as can very slack stabilisers on the 3 point if the machine is mounted.
I don't think there can be any connection with the tractor itself causing the knock.
