G'day all my 8011 has started having pto slip issues and I have read on here that can be east fixed by a few o rings etc in the pto pack from the rear, but I wanted to find out if it's possible if the pack has a severe enough internal leak would it also cause the ta to slip in low? Is it a related problem or coincidence that I get minor slipping in low when taking off up a hill momentarily then it "grabs" and takes off and pulls fine?

As the days go by the problem has escalated to a point where it now struggles to get up any hills without slipping, most likely I think is the ta pack and or band and a few other things, I remember the old fella telling me last time he slip the gearbox for seals he noticed something that had cracked so I have tracked down a 8045 with a dead clutch pack and hasn't started in 4 years which if I buy I will merge the two together to make one good 8045 fitted with the brand new loader that I have not long since fitted to the 8011, then if I was keen I thought I might hunt down a cab and mount that up in the process of the merge

TA and PTO clutch are on the same pump. It is very possible that the clutch pack looses so much oil that the pump cant keep pressure on the TA either.

Ok silly me I should check the easy things first but the cleanable gauze filter had a lot of crap in it, would this have cause such issues? I can't test it now due to other clutch problems making the tractor unmovable
