8011 roof

alright, i have a 1977 8011 rebuilding and im looking for a second hand roof for the cab if i have no luck in finding one i will make one,also looking for a front light panal, wonderd if anybody would be able to help me out,thanks steve

Stephen, the roof is fairly easy to fabricate, but make sure you brace it well and line it with some insulating material or the drumming noise will drive you nuts. 1977 8011's had their headlights sticking out the side and the front is solid steel under the air intake grill. cooling air goes in the sides on that model.

ive never seen a crystal with headlights "sticking out the sides" theyve all been in the front panel. 1970's 6711 etc had them sticking out the sides though.
