Im planning on converting my 8011 to a 8045. I need basically everything. Im looking for someone to supply the all the parts I need or at least some to give me a good start.
I would say don't bother, by the time you've found all the bits, side box, propshaft, front axle, not forgetting the hyd tapping from the TA control box, split the rear end to install the intermediate gear for the 4wd you would be much better off to find an 80 or 8145 complete.
Dave is right here, i did this job on my 1996 8111,only I had the parts already using an old 1977 8045. but having done all the work of putting it together, on second thoughts, getting a 8145 would have been easier work.
Ive got two 8011s and a c385 1 of the 8011s im going to start rebuilding in the winter months. This is the one I wanted to add the axle 2. Im going too split it up 2 inspect and replace anything worn. I just thought I would ask about 2 see if obtaining 1 was possible.
