I still have not figured out how to adjust the 3 point linkage controls on my 8045 to get my slasher to follow the contour of the ground I am slashing. Is there some way of overiding the automatic leveling function so the slasher will follow the land contour?

drop the hitch, its single acting so it wont push the slasher down.
I have dropped the hitch as far as it will go but the slasher still comes of the ground when going over a rise

Then you should extend the pullrods between the short upper arms and the lower link arms. Or rise the 3pt attachment points on the slasher...
Ok, thanks mate, I'll have a play with the adjustments. I thought I may have had an incorrect setting on the controls.

On the UR1 the hitch would start lifting again if you pushed the lever too far down. its too long ago i used the hitch on a UR2 to remember if it also has this.. saturday i wheelied over the main road when crossing it with a 15t load of bales delivering to a customer...
