Are all oil galleys open ?? and did they check the roundness tolerance on the bearing caps ?

At my previous employer we had to discard a 6BT because of a seized crank bearing that heated the block locally so that it warped. If it isnt running true, it will happen again. Unless you line bore the entire block, then a new shortblock is cheaper.
