Hi Everyone,
What are the differences between a 9540, a 2002 9641 and the later curvey bonnet 9641's. is there any thing in particular to watch for when inspecting these tractors witha view to buying?

the 9540 shares the same basic construction with the 9641. but offers a different cab gearbox and front axle. the 2002 forterra and the later sloped bonnet version is in basic the same tractor. just that the exhaust is moved, now they have Tier 3 engines, aircondition as standard, along with bosch hydraulics. the 9641 are much easier to work with they have a more silent cab. and the gearing options are much better. but all in all these are all fine tractors. so its up to you to decide what you like best. Hi

Check the condition of the cardon brake on the prop-shaft. If the wires on the pads get broken the pads wear the disc away - VERY EXPENSIVE !!
