Hello,
When I start the tractor and press the 4WD button, the 4WD engages immediately.
After a minute or two I hear a pop noise down by the tire inflator and from then on air is pushed out of the bottom of the tire inflator. I assume this is some type of pressure relief. If I disengage the 4wd and then try to re-engage, it usually doesnt engage. If I stop and restart the engine or release air out of the air tank then the 4wd will engage when the switch is turned on. The manual mentions you may have to leave air out of the tank to use the tire inflator because the compressor may be idling but mine seems to always by compressing air, just once it fills the tank it pushes the air out of the bottom of the tire inflator. Is this normal for the air compressor? Any ideas why the 4wd wont engage once the tank is filled? Thanks for any insight into the normal operation of the air compressor.
