Hi, trying to help a friend of mine get his tractor up to snuff.
His pto isn't working any more after a long day cutting hay. It will work (he says) in ground speed mode but not live. Also his front end loader is slow and seems a bit weak. Reading his manual it would appear that the fluid is low. We are filling it now to eliminate that issue.
My question is could I be missing something else?? Is that fluid all one system or is there two independant resevoirs/pumps? The operator's manual isn't very detailed on the subject.

ok, got the pto working now, had a hole in the air line that controlled the pto
still have no power on the hydraulics, hooked up batwing mower and it won't raise the wings, going to try new filters on the hyd system, I can hear the tractor strain under load but it's weak

Pulled hyd filters and they are full of metal. Guess it's time for a pump. $525.00 plus shipping
