I am thinking about adding a thermostart unit to my 7745 and was wondering if anyone else had done this before. I am not sure how to get fuel to this and if it has to be pressurized, etc. I thought maybe there was somewhere I could tap into the injection pump ? Any ideas would be great. Thanks, juney

Juney, Follow the thread on Oct 24.
A thermostart has to be fitted into the inlet manifold on the end where the air goes in. It should be horizontal to work best.
you would be advised to remove the manifold and get it drilled and tapped to take the thread of the unit you are going to fit.
It does'nt want a pressure feed, only a few inches gravity.
Why do you want one on this tractor ?, they are usually good starters.
