Are any aftermarket parts available for Zetors, and if so, are the higher quality? I am particularly interested in master cylinders, and a slave cylinder rebuild kit for a 4340. I would also like the best place to get manuals, if anyone has suggestions. Thanks in advance.
Yes, the aftermarketclutch master cylinders are of higher quality..
However they are not aftermarket, but genuine Zetor spares. Zetor sourced themfrom PAL which were crap. Then for a short while of a Danish company which werent much better.
finally they had them manufactured at Fragokov of Slovak, these are also factory fitted to all the new models.
I located a dealer about 70 miles from here (Nashville, Tennessee) and gave them a call. They had everything in stock except for the manuals, and they got those 2 days after I called. The prices for the parts weren't as bad as I had thought they might be. Hopefully, my limited mechanic skills can get me through this procedure quickly. to Bernie and Dominic, I an keeping your information handy in case it's needed in the future.
Thanks for the help!
