Wondering if anyone had any suggestions...

We have an Agripower 5000 that just decided to not start. It is completely silent (dead). However, it's not the battery (I tested it), and I don't think it's a bad battery connection because the lights on the dash still come on when I push in the key. I was thinking it might be a short or something - any ideas?

Thank you very much.

I'd start with the battery terminals, making sure there's no corrosion and that the cables are securely fastened. Just because the dash lights come on doesn't mean you have a battery connection capable of handling the required current. If that's not the problem, I'd look for an open in the starting circuit (not a short). Good luck!

My 7211 likes a sharp rap to the starter button side of the dash on occasion
