Zetor 5211 sold at auction In South Carolina USA for $3950 US. It had good sheet metal, 3ph and drawbar excellent. It had turf tires. It had 4900 hours. The engine ran rough at first, possible fuel problems. PTO did not work and I think the clutch was worn out.

There were some European models of other used tractors there. Ford 4000 sold for $4000. It had new paint. 6 lug rear wheels showed it was a European model , US models have 8 lugs.

A nice NH L175 4wd sold for $15500. It had the European rear hitch which I am told works well, but I have never seen work. US models have a simple drawbar and pin arrangement.

Some of the European tractors appearently came from Belgium.

Good Spring farming to everyone.

Keith
