Hi James,

How little can you do the 3045 mudgaurds for ??

Regards Jason

Hi Jason

Unfortunatly the mudguards are quite expensive working out at 750 a pair +vat. The reason they are that expensive is they are hand rolled in the Uk to exactly the original spec (the guy that does them makes prototype parts for Aston Martin!!) Also they have jumped up alot this year due to the whole steel job.
The original mudguards from the factory have been obsolete for twenty years.

We have sold about 30 sets now in around three years.
If your not too bothered about having your tractor completly original then we do have some 4712 type wings (more square) which would fit straight on these are priced at 246.55 each plus vat.

Hope this helps

James

James,

Dont they have the original pressforms in India ??
If so, somebody with enough market, and facilities, should import a shipping container from there...

They didnt reply to my request for a price of 5 sets...

Hi Renze
No all the original pressings were all scrapped over in the CZ. The tractors made in India don't have the correct original mudguard fitted and from the pictures I have seen they seem to be larger like the 4011/5511 etc type.
These larger mudguards we can still get but not from the Zetor factory, they aren't completly original as the pressings in the side of the mudguard are different.

Another thing Renze, we now have a Super P in our collection!!

Hi Everyone
I will soon have some fibreglass replacement wings available for the 3011/45 & 3511/45's very soon! anyone interested please e-mail me at:- alan@zetor -dealer.co.uk

The problem is with fibreglass they will be no where near as strong as the steel ones and won't be able to cope with the vibration.
I know you can get fibreglass mudguards for dexta and majors but these don't cover the wheel like the Zetor mudguard does and most people use the light unit on the mudguard to lean on to get on and off the tractor and fibreglass won't stand up to that kind of abuse.

Hello all
Just a quick note to say I will be taking lots of Zetor merchandise which is availible to buy with me to the upcoming shows.

James

Alzet,

Whats the price for these fiberglass replacement mudguards ? do they look the same as original ones ?

The issue mentioned about strength is not a problem for me, i can simply glue some steel ribs against them, just like the original steel ones had.

Maybe its even possible to glue the entire mudguard around a 30x30x3mm tube which fit inside the original Omega profiles to maintain the original look... ??

Please, price and pictures. I might hop into the Volvo and get a trunk load in England for resale on this side of the pond ;)
