hello could do with advice on doing brakes in back axel of 8011 any information would be great

They are dry disc brakes. Remove rear wheel, undo cab support and prop cab. take pin out of lower link arm. Then support axle housing with a crane or suitable hoist and undo the ring of bolts that hold the axle housing to the gearbox. Only undo the larger bolts, the small ones hold the reduction gear ring in. Slide the housing carefully out and the brake discs and expander are then accessable. Always replace the oil seal next to the gearbox and the one on the outside of the discs and be very careful when putting together that you slide the splined shaft in straight so that you don't damage the new seal. More 8011 brakes are ruined by oil than ever wear out. Hope this helps, Dave

Hello,

I am doing this right now. I will probably tomorrow remove the half shafts. I take pictures and post it on my thread below during the job.
