Hey guys, you have helped before with my questions and I am reluctant to ask such n obvious question but it is cutting my butt.
On most tractors/equipment, if you mash brake pedals hard, there is usually a lever, pin, button, something that locks them down.then you push hard on pedals and release th device. My tractor brakes are acting as if they are locked, but I can find nothing to release them. The emergency brake is not engaged. Only used this tractor about five or six times so far and it had no brakes but when I engage clutch it stops almost immediately. Acts like it is in a bind starting off. I just figured guy that sold it to me hooked me and I would have to fix brakes. Now I am wondering if brakes are locked down, especially since something at the back by the pto shaft, looks like some kind of reservoir with hose coming out on each side of pto shaft, started smoking.
