hi guys
i have a tractor here at home which has just had an engine rebuild. at christmas 2006 a new clutch plate was fitted but because the engine rebuild the clutch and flywheel was removed and the clutch has worn quite a bit:sneaky: its an organic clutch plate but what i cant figger out the tractor only does 100hrs a year max! maybe has the small baler once a year and the rest of the time my grandad uses it as a runaround;)

do you know if a asbestos clutch would be better than organic
i would prefer a ceramic but i cant get it for my tractor

so organic or asbestos???

thanks

We can supply a ceramic plate to fit your Zetor tractor visit www.zetor-dealer.co.uk

to be honest tom im not quite sure. what ever it is made from it is fairly soft.

sorry for the confusion alzet but the clutch is out of a mf 65

I have never heard of an organic clutch either. As far as I am concerner clutch plates come in two forms, The sintered metal plates otherwise known as cera-metallic or ceramic , and the traditional fibre plates.
