Ther is a cold start button on 7011 its a little knob in the middle of a big nut you must push it in. its located on the front of the diesel pump betveen the pump and the air compressor. hope this vill help you.
Thanks for the replies, I found the button on the side of the nut . After clicking the hand throttle on I pushed this button in and it doesn't seem to make any difference if it's in or not.
The starter motor winds over slowly for 8 or 9 secs before the tractor fires up , is this normal or will a bigger battery make a difference ?
Before you push the cold start button you must open the throttle fully. The button should click when it goes in. If it doesn't click then dismantle it and free it off. You may find the tractor will fire up quicker if you give the hand primer a few pumps first to prime the system.
