Hi

I just went out to do some snow work, and couldn't find the cold start button on my 6945! AArrgghh!

At first I thought it had dropped off somehow, but further investigation revealed that the hex head that it's mounted on had rotated so that the button was pointing in towards the engine!

Now the assembly rotates quite freely - the manual appears to show it as a nut but it won't screw back in.

Is this a problem??

Thanks, and...

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Mine did the same thing I just turned it so it was pointing the right way it hasn't been a problem and that as at least 5 years ago.

Heh! That's pretty much what I was hoping to hear :)

It didn't seem like it anything was going to drop off, so I thought I'd just ignore it! I did the snow work with no problems.

I've been looking in the factory manual but that doesn't seem to give any clues.

Five years eh? I guess I can stop worrying...

Many thanks

J-P
