Crown pallet trucks

Hi guys. I happened across this forum a while back and read with much interest since so i decided to join up. I do have a question and i am hoping some one can help .

I have a crown pallet truck. model pth 50-20-48. My problem is that it will not jack up. It is filled with hydraulic oil but when I jack it up and down the ram will not move. I dont want to get into any more detail yet as i have a few theories but if anyone here could help it would be much appreciated.

so your hydraulic piston rod is seized ?

Have you checked the adjustment of the linkage between the control lever in the pump handle and the valve actuator?
