Is there much of a difference betwween a zetor 11441 and a 11741? We have a 11441 and we are thinking of upgrading it

our 11441 is pulling a 16ft silage trailer for silage.

i think the 11441 is 115hp corect me if im wrong.

would the 11741 be much of a differnce for pulling the 16ft silage trailer? and what hp is the 11741?

Thanks Aaron

Unless you get a 125 it wont be an upgrade. When chopping corn a 114 hangs in there longer than the 117 powering the chopper, but when driving away with a 15t trailer the 117 picks up smoother because of the turbo lag of the 11441. I've driven a 114 and i must say i'm not impressed with the engine characteristics. I'm told the 125 is quite better due to a wastegated turbo, and a lot better cooling capacity with air to air intercooler.

The 125 has a waste gated turbo which picks up smooth and delivers better torque down deeper. A 16 valve 135 would be even more of an improvement.

Also the 117 is a hard trade once you want to get rid of it. I've been following the same tractor for 4 years now, here in Holland, one dealer tried to sell it but nobody wanted it, Then somehow they sold it to another dealer, and now that dealer is offering it for more than a year.

For a Zetor engined tractor there is allways a market. If you have a 117 you'll be better off selling it in pieces: the engine to Same people because they had a tendency to blow an oil channel, loose oil pressure and therefor spin their crank bearings and/or throw a rod, (so a replacement Same engine is in demand) and the gearbox in lots of individual parts that fit all those 11441 out there...

he might be talking about a 11741 4c renze and thats a good buy. but the once With same engine is rubbish.

Its the concept name for what was later marketed as the 11441 but the same tractor he already has. To reallyt improve, you'd better get a 125 than a 117... more performance and better reliability

no no no the 11741 4c is a 125 hp at least they are here in norway and they came after the 11441, it does not have the 11441 bad low end torque and its more comparable to the 12441 than 11441. the 11741 4c pulls like a dream even under 1500 RPMs where you were lost if you dropped below 1500 RPMs With the 11441.

In that case, you could also opt for a 11741-4c turbo on your 11441... the 114 sure is gutless when pulling up from 1000rpm, the turbo kicks in at 1500rpm but usually it doesnt have the power to get to 1500rpm...

It seems you're right, and in other countries there WAS a 11741-4c next to the 11441... here the 11441 with grey rims, were sold as 121hp instead of 114hp.

Because FWI didnt complain about the 11741-4c lugging ability when the revs drop, it must have the waste gated turbo like the later 125 had.
