Hi, anyone else out there going through doors........ broke the first one by accident now over 6 weeks have lost 3 replacements, first one fitted by dealer, next by my tractorman and the last by myself, 2 exploded overnight the 3rd yesterday right in front of me!! Bad batch methinks??

ive had one door thath exploded on my 11441 forterra. its not wery common that this happens.

Hard dirt in seals or frozen water?

Have any bendings on metal parts?

Srews tighten too much?

Door lock assembled keep door too tight?

Sometimes those shapened doors made by tempered glass can explode themself. I did get one 8mm tempered security glass on my faces when went in digger. The force is incredible, wiper motor did fly over 4 meters and ripped itself of from 4 pin electric socket. Luckily wiper did fly outside, not inside the cabin 69)

But several door after the another isnt common. There must be a fault somewhere, wich forces it under tension when you close it......

Ok for future reference, turns out the bottom hinge "holder" had taken a hit somehow and was out of line by about 4mm, bent it back into position remounted a new door and ....... 3 weeks later still ok:D Thanks for the advice though
