I own a 4341 and need to do filter changes (oil, air, fuel and hyd/trans); are there after market filters that fit (Wix, Purolater, Napa...) or do you just purchase Zetor filters?

Crossland 312 for the fuel filters. the oil filter is, either a centrifugal separator, or a set of washable screens on the three cylinders.

on the 4341 engine oil filter there is a Ford truck filter that will work. When I am at the shop tomorrow I'll try to rember to write it down the number and post it. I haven't found any substitute for the hyd./transmission or power steering filters. The power steering filters aren't very expensive but the hyd. filters are over $50 each.

Renze the Crosland 312 is a replacement element for the washable oil filter discs used on the 3 Cylinder engines. The correct Crosland numbers for the 2 stage fuel filters are:- 667 for stage 1 & 668 for stage 2.

Hmm... I remember that when i changed the filters, Crosland 312 is what i took out of the fuel filter bowls....
The previous owner of our 5245 must have already put oil filters in the fuel filter housings... When i bought new ones, i was surprised that the numbers were different, but nobody told me that Crosland 312 were OIL filters !!

Alzet,
How does the 312 work and will it work on my 5211?

Yes the Crosland 312 will work with your 5211. Remove the washable discs from thier centralising tube & replace them with the filter element.

Thanks for the reply.
So this is basically doing away with the wafers or discs? What does this element look like and will it work in both stages?

Yes it is doing away with the discs & will work in both stages. It looks similar to the fuel filter elements but it has larger "pores" to allow the oil to pass through.

That's good news !

It usually takes about 3 cans of carb cleaner to get all the discs clean. Now I can eliminate that junk.

Thanks, Alzet!

cool those filter cartirges to replace the discs , but can I use em on my zetor 5011 1984,

smelly

Crosland 312 is suitable to replace the discs in all 3cyl engines.

Well me and my brother traced the bug !!

Back in the old days when we had our first Zetor , a 5718, the local dealer changed brands to IHC and later Renault and later Deere and later MF... (yes, he sold all brands but never had parts for what he sold...)

When this dealer quit selling Zetor, the local Valmet dealer (3 km away from us) said that he had Crosland filters for our tractors... We have been buying Crosland 312 from him ever since... !!! I dont know how he could make this mistake, as a 5718 has the centrifugal oil filter, so there is no chance that oil and fuel filters could be swapped around, on a 4 cyl....

I remember last year i bought filters from the original dealer again, he gave me these 2 stage filter elements... I wondered why but didn't realise we've been using oil flters in the fuel all the time..... ;) ;)

ok guys crosland 667 and 668 stage 1 stage 2.

when standing infront of the filters on the zetor , is stage 1 the lefthand filter?

smelly

I think there was an arrow on the filter mount, that points out the flow direction... ??
