Hi there.

I have just fitted a loader to my 8011. I had trouble to find where to take the hydraulic feed from. I ended up buying a 18mm benjo and machining a" double benjo bolt"the new benjo i fitted just outsidethe one conecting the feed from the pump to the main block behind the seat. Now that i have test run the the tractor i have found that the rer arms only lift when i move my loader hydraulic leavers. The hydraulic bank for the loader has a continuous flow. I would love to be able to use it without having to select between loader and hydraulic arms. How do i go on about this problem ????

i fed the loader spool valve from one of the two existing external service pipes on the rear , just lock the exrenal lever in the up position tith the lock thingy, theres a bung on the top of the rear facethat i drilled and tapped to take the return flow.

the other external is then still available to tip a trailer , fold the mower or whatever.
when the hedgecutter is on theres one spool valve on each service , just have to lock the external service lever one way or the other to select which spool valve youwant to use

The best way to do this to have continues flow to your loader and your rear arms is to take the feed directly from the hydraulic pump,

So on the left hand side of the tractor you will see the pipe coming out of the pump and then bending into a pipe going to the rear, what you need to do is put your feed hose to the loader directly onto the pump and then the return hose from the loader needs to plumb into the pipe that used to come out of the pump heading towards the rear, this way your loader gets oil first and then the 3pl all at once

I plumed up the second option, the 3pl worked, then i tried the bucket ram, working (double acting), main ram and i pulled and pushed on the leaver, the only thing that happened was the oil started leaking out of the side of the hydraulic pump, looks like it has a split in the casing. do i need a pressure release valve on my spool?

Are the pressure release valves for set pressures or manually adjustable ? If its the first, what pressure should it release at?

Get yourself a pressure gauge and plug it into the rear remotes and measure the pressure there then manually set your pressure relief on the spool valve to be a little bit under what you measured at the back

Thanks for that, I have ordered the new pump and a pressure relief valve, should arrive tomorrow, then I have to pull finger, I have some hay to mow, before it is dry standing!

Thanks guys for all the help and thanks for offering to take pics, gottthe beast going. If I don't forget I will post some pics of my handy work.
