forterra fourhh wheel drive

My forterra will not disengage 4wd,the switch is working ,i can hear the air activating when i switch off but it is still in 4wd when the switch is in 2wd . Any ideas please. thankyou.

Hi

It uses the air to disengage the 4wd. Try taking the air pipe off the 4wd box and see if air comes out when you operate it. If it does then the problem is in the "drop box". I believe there is a pin which can get out of position in there.

Loads of air going into fourwheel drive box. Will box come apart by taking the four bolts behind the brake disc or do the bolts into the transmission housing have to be removed? Thanks.
