Front axle 7045 question?

Hi

I have two bad front axles I want to make into one good one.

Is it easy and doable to split the axles in the middle and then put both good sides together and make one axle?

As long as the diff is ok I see no reason why the half shafts and reduction hubs cant be swapped

AFAIK all gear ratios were identical, the difference in 25 and 30kmh was made by fitting 4511 portals (that ran 25 on 14.9-28 rears) and a 4wd dropbox gear with 40 instead of 41 teeth so the front axle gears should all be the same.

the 25 and 30 front Axels are not interchangeable. you cant fit a 30 kmh to a 25 kmh tractor and vice versa. I have this from the importer here in norway. som have tried to but does not work.

One axle is from a 7045 and the other is from a 7245. I think both are 25km/h?? So it should work?

Both axles are off now so should come together soon.

it depends on the crown and pinion gears. end reductions are the same.
