Hi guys,

My 7245 is losing oil from the right hand side of the font axle. I see that there is a place on the top of the axle to add oil, but until my manuals turn up I don't know what to put in there, can someone help ??

Also, is anyone familiar with this prolem - should I try and strip it down when the manuals arrive to find and fix the problem or just add oil every now and then?? I've checked all the bolts and they are IK so I'm guessing that it's a seal somewhere.

Thanks,

Andy

Standard gear oil 80w/90 is prescribed.

I have heard of some folks in england drilling and tapping a grease hole in the oil plug, so they could lubricate with grease. Grease is just oil dissolved in a kind of soap
