I had trouble fitting the 5245 loader to the 5718, the difference between mounting points was more than the 12cm with of the cylinder heads. This leads me to believe that the 6011 and later rear ends were 2 cm longer... ?? But im not sure.
Anyways, it will bolt right up, and you can put the gearlever on that transmission too. But you might have to modify the cab mounts a wee bit.

On the 7,9 and 10 series the geareboxcasting have the same partnumber, on the 12 serie there is anoter partnumber.
I have not compered all the shafts but it is plousible thay are the same. You can download partsbook for both traktors from : http://www.maskinisten.net to compere.

Our 5245 had a gearbox with casting number 6011...... so i assumed that they would have been in production from the 10 series onwards. But it doesnt allways mean that.
