- 2X 7245 Zetors
Hi,
I'm a long-term Zetor operator. I grew up on a dairy farm in the UK, and my father had a fleet of Zetors, starting with 2 of the unstoppable 6945's.
The last tractor he bought brand new on the farm was a 7245 with front linkage. It was a game changer pushing up grass on the silage pit.
I moved to Australia in 2000, where I live on a hobby farm of around 50 acres. When I saw this Tractor for sale locally I just had to buy it. A 7245 just like dad's

I bought this one without the loader. I added that myself having acquired the parts from a local wrecking yard.
Then, a couple of years ago, I added another to the fleet! The second one came with a much better loader. It is self leveling, has a quick hitch, and will easily pick up a 1 tonne bag of fertiliser. Here is a picture of the pair together.

The second one also has a rather ugly after-market air conditioner attached to the top of the dashboard. It doesnt cool anymore, but it is a nice strong fan which is way better than the original fitment.
I also fitted a Trimble EZ-Steer from scrap components I had about. That is great for spraying! Here is the rather untidy cab...

Both of these tractors are still in daily use making hay and silage, spreading fertiliser and spraying, and general farm chores like fencing. Here is my post hole borer/rammer.

We are located about an hour west of Melbourne, Australia, in a small town called Meredith.
