i have a 3320 that now cranks longer to start than it used to.
it will start but takes longer cranking time. what should i look for.
it is getting fuel.
Sounds like you have diesel running back to the tank when you leave the tractor for a while. This is caused by air getting into the system. Usually through a perished pipe. Either the pipes to the tank or the return / leak-off pipes are the normal culprits.
On my diesel truck the same problem happened to me but with a fuel feed line. Hard starting, rough idling, would surge, then stall. Once it stalled very difficult to start.
