haveing to re reg my tractor because dvla cocked up !!

has any one else had this with dvla ...owned a tractor 21 years taxed every year without missing a year ..then get a letter from swansea dvla saying that some one is trying to apply for the log book in their name had we sold the tractor ....which we hadn't ..then they came and inspected it all ok ...so the story ended ...no ..they sent a letter stating that a tractor had been shipped to poland using my tractor reg number ..??..and they didn't check it before it went ..!!..so now i have to find information to prove that it is what it says on the vin plate which i have zetor uk trying to verify the age etc of my tractor then they'll re-reg it with a age related plate or if i can't prove its age it will be a Q plate ...so they had a bloke check the chassis number back to zetor and it came back as a built date of 1980 -82...which it ain't its a 1989 12145 on a F reg plate which they know from the inspection they did on it ..but they need the new sales receipt ..don't have coz we got it second hand.. who had it before. well they'll already know that coz its on the reg document which they have .. ...and who supplied it new ..well it was fletcher tractors broughton furness ..out of business for quite a few years now ..so what happens now is any ones guess ..just because they didn't check the other tractor out first it going to me losing out if they get their way ..
