Your 6211 never had hazards on it. The flasher unit with 3 pins is live, earth and a feed to the switch. To wire up hazards you will need a correct switch out of like a scrapped car and a hazards relay too, it needs to be a switch with 4 poles then take a wire to either side of the indicator switch and power wire to the hazard relay.

thanks diy man for your help do you mean a hazard switch with 4 poles from a scrapped car & when you say take a wire from either side of indicator switch does that mean the left & right indicator wire from the switch & what wires go to the relay

do you mean a hazard switch with 4 poles from a scrapped car

When I mean a hazard switch from a scrapped car? Yes that's what I meant!!

You need to take a wire from either side of the out poles on the hazard switch one to the left and one to right indictor on the switch. You need a hazard relay to work them it needs a power feed and a output wire going to the hazard switch on both input poles.
