Hi everyone! These are my tractors - 2014 Zetor Proxima 120 Power and 2003 Zetor 6340 that has been converted to 2wd.

We removed the front wheel drive, because the 2wd is more handy to us, especially for the mixing wagon and raking hay.

Can I asked, Why didn't just trade it in and bought a 2wd instead? Your 4wd would been more valuable and would went long way to buying a 2wd

There weren't really many good options with low hours for such money. And we also had a 7745 at the time so we didn't need 4wd.

Jeeze, It's very few times I have ever heard of someone remove a 4wd to make a 2wd unless it was broken. In this country it would be the other way around, no body wants a 2wd and lots of people have converted an 8011 into a 4wd. Including myself.

2wd tractors in Ireland in general are very very rarely seen, especially new tractors in any makes, sales must be tiny at this stage. I drove past my local CNH dealer yesterday and there wasn't a single 2wd in the line of new tractors on display.

Yea it is a bit unconventional, but it is really handy for us for doing smaller jobs and for manouvering with the mixer wagon because of its tight cornering radious.
