question Help identifying part - Zetor 6945

Im slowly renovating the old 6945 that I pick up last year. Todays job is the rear window. The position knob broke when I tried to unwind it, it looks like its been rusted for years. The rear window itself is covered with sealant around it so I´ll need to order some new rubber and try to get it sorted.
I´ve not been able to identify this, does anyone recognise it? The spring for rear window attaches to the top and I would imagine this fastens the window in place when open.

Your missing 2 arms that fit into them position knobs and attach to the window frame and the springs go from the roof to these. They go into the slots on the frame.

Theres a frame this mounts into, the spring attaches to the top and a pin connects it to the rear window frame. The part on the left should have a bolt coming off it the knob screws onto that fastens the window in the position you want it. Im just not sure what part numbers these are as they need repalcing.

Your only after the part number for the part on the left in your picture? I can't see you been able to buy one new. You'll probably have to weld on a new stud onto your plate. 80-368-200 is for that bit.

Your Zetor have the small Slowakian cab.


Hand wheel part number is 80368904

I had trouble getting all the rubber seals for this cab over 10 years ago. Because my rear window frame was also heavily rusted, I decided to convert the rear window to the Zetor 5211 version with the narrow Slovakian cab (metal roof).

Here's how I did it:

• Welded four 10x2 sheet metal strips into the rear frame (spot welding)
• Welded two bolts on the left and right to hold the gas springs
• Bought the rear window frame from the Zetor 5211 with the narrow cab
• Bought a matching rear window
• Re-welded the hinges
• And because I still had a rear window handle from a CaseIH Maxxum, I also converted the stupid window lock from a plastic snap to a proper lock with 4 positions (closed, vent 1, vent 2, open).

In the end, it's much better than it was from the factory.

This means you can easily open the rear window with one hand, even while driving. It seals much better (no more water ingress), and thanks to the ventilation settings you'll never have fogged-up windows again.


... and yes, I mounted also the cab roof from a Zetor 5211 on my Zetor 5011 cab - because, its the better one.
