Look at the serial plate on the dashboard the year of manufacture is usually stamped on it. If not take off the rear wheels & look at the inside of the wheel dish that was against the hub & there will be made in Chechozlovakia stamped into it. Close by this there will be two pairs of numbers also stamped in ie 67 & 10 means October 1967. Our 3011 that was purchased new in March 1968 has these numbers.
With reference to the previous answer, most of the plates were never stamped and the wheel centres do not give an accurate date, due to the fact that wheels were stacked up and not used in any real sense of stock rotation. Then when the tractor arrived in the country of import, many wheels were changed to suit individual requirements.
The most accurate way to date a Zetor UR1 to within a month of manufacture is to look at the hydraulic top cover, on the left, where the torsion bar goes through, all top covers are stamped with the month and year that they were assembled and tested . The next number tells you tha actual number of that cover in that month.
e.g. 02 98 0475
Aseembled and tested in February 1998, it is the 475th hydraulic cover made that month.
