somewhere by your left foot theres a small plate in the cab floor, 2 bolts m8 or m6, underneath theres a dipstick plug in the top of the gearbox which unscrews.. its a fiddle to get oil in without spilling though.
this company will send you out the manuals in two days. The written English in the manuals is very poor but it will give you an idea of where everything is.
Following on from Riccs post, check the oil level when the tractor is level, and the correct level is to the mark when the dipstrick is NOT screwed down.
guess ive been doing it wrong for thirty years then,
ive always screwed it in finger tight to check the level, do put the loader down on the ground though.
the engine oil sticks on the little ones (6711) are also screwed in , i always take the level on them with them in as well
on my 8011 recently the hydraulic arms have started going down about half a foot and then lifting back up by themselves. the other day they would not lift at all i just put the lever back and tried again and they lifted the second time no problem i have been told that it is probably seals that are gone would this sound correct and if so would i get away with lifting round bales for the winter or does it need attention straight away. probably will cost me a fortune to get this fixed id say.
hi guys anybody know if my first post sounds like it is seals or would anybody hazard a guess at what it is going to cost me to fix this i.e hundreds or a thousand or more.
the arms dropping then raising is a leak either in the lift ram seal or the control valve allowing oil to escape, the position control them senses the arms have dropped and puts the system nto lift to get them back to the set position. isnt really abig problem unless you have something on the back that needs to be at a constant height. try shfting the sensing mode lever from position/heigt to mixed or draught conrol.... in draught the sensing is done on the pull on the lower link mounting points..... this may stop the sinking down and correcting.
cost of takingthe system apart depends on who does it...is their an experienced zetor mechanic near you?
if the pump is sound , filters clean and oil level correct their should be no problem shifting bales, its unlikely to suddenly stop workng altogether.
Hi again guys ,sorry for not answering ive been away on a job and have not been at home. Cant find any plate on the left hand side there is a small one between/in front of the gear levers with to m6s could that be the one? the only thing on the left of the cab floor is the battery box!? I have the manual be theres no text of how the check the oil level...
thats about where my left foot sits... the hole is only large enough to stick a socket down to undo the dipstick...you have to use a socket and extension cos the hole aint big enough to get your fingers in to twiddle the plug itself . on mine the rubber carpet has to come up to find it.
The hole in the floor is around 50mm dia and is between the gearsticks and a bit foreward and to the right. It will be covered by a rubber grommett if its origional. Later crystals had a piece of pipe in the top of the gearbox to bring the filler and dipstick nearer to floor level.
If the P/S isn't working check the oil level in the small black resevoir on the right side of the tractor behind the chassis rail next to the engine. remove the ventilated cap and the gauze filter under it and dip the oil level with something clean. correct level is about 50mm deep, but fill to half full. Use ATF oil. Older crystals had washable gauze filters just in front of the tank and more recent ones had a spin on type filter.
the "small black" ps tank is about a gallon in capacity and has been painted same colour as the engine on all the ones ive owned. ive always filled to a couple of inches from the top. if you overfill the oil expands as it gets hot and overflows
