Hi,

Does anyone know if I can change gears on my zetor 7045 so it will go faster?
I have already find out that I can change gears in the portals on backwheel driven zetor 7011 so it will speed up to around 40km/h.
And those wheels also fits my 4 wheel driven 7045, but they dont make the front axle go faster.

So does anyone know if there are gears also for front axle to speed up to 40km/h?

I have found kits for front and rear axle that make the tractor speed up 9% but it cost around 800 and i dont want to spend that much to speed up from 25 to 28 km/h.

There were 25 and 30kmh versions. You could make a 30kmh version using the portals of a 4511 or 5511 on 14.9-28 tires, but as you say, you'd need a different front crown and pinion too.

There are no overdrive kits available for them. only bigger tires, maybe you can fit 16.9r38 or 18.4r34 under the mudguards, but as allways: youd need bigger front wheels too.

But I have found portal wheel for 7011 14/59 the dealer said that it will go around 40km/h with those. We will see that, A friend of mine that owns a 7011 have ordered them...

So I Was wondering if anyone know where to find matching wheels for front axle?

the 30km/h portal wheels are only 12/61, original wheels should be 11/62, and I dont see the point to spend that much money for that small amount of speed.

ALL 25Kmh tractors have the same portals and front axles, all 30 kmh has the same axels. a front axle from a 30km 7745 will not work on a 25 kmh 7245. if you can get hold of portals from a super series they will fit but you wont find a corresponding front axle to fit the output speed of the gearbox throug the dropbox and propshaft. all super series had carraro front axle and they have a different ratio tha original zetor axels. i wondered about switching to a carraro front axle on my 6340 but then i had to take out gearbox and put in different ratio gears for the propshaft drive. if you upgrade yours to 30 kmh and put on 34 inch tires and corresponding front tyres, it will do about 38 kmh.
