So I want to get a log splitter. I've noticed that they seem to have 2 hydraulic pipes on. I have one pipe coming out from under the seat for the tipping trailer.
Next to where it comes out looks like another fixing for hydraulic pipe(not in use) would this be where the other pipe would go? Is it for fluid return?
Hi
yes you are on the rigt track, the second fiting is for dualvorking syliders and things like that and you can plugg the return from your logspliter there, however it can just as esely be plumed rigt inn to the gearbox oilfill.

My 3011 also came with one outlet, but close to the one outlet is another plug in the rear axle cover, to which you can plumb another line plus quick coupler. The valve is double acting, just the extra outlet was optional back then.
No, hydraulics only works with pressure, not with vacuum. You have one pressure outlet for the inward stroke of a cylinder and the other hose connected to the outward stroke.
