help you wise ones.
5245 3pt dont work, but the auxhillary ports do
have removed the lift housing, problem seems to be
in the valve chest.have taken out the spool valve
but prior to removallooks like some muppet has been
in there.Has nut to cylinder feed has been rounded off.
Inside the spool blocksprings look damaged just need some
informaation / pictures as reasembly looks like could have been
incorrectly done prior by the muppet.
Need verifacation on amount of springs inside as i have only
found two.
thankyou.:(

We had a similar problem on our 5245

The lift didn't react, so i disconnected teh earth bucket. Then i lifted up the lift arms manually, standing behind the tractor. When i dropped them down, the lift suddenly lifted !!!

In the end, we (and the dealer) found that the mechanicals inside the top cover were bent.

When you have taken the lift assembly off the rear axle, you can try it by blowing air into teh pressure inlet with an air compressor. Use a rag over the blowing pistol opening to seal it a bit more.
