! it was only 680!!!! never bought any implements on ebay i find it better to buy them at machinery sales like cambridge and montford bridge ect.. you get all morning to check them and its a nice day out but i have fitted extra-big heater plugs so it starts just like a 3 cylinder have you ever been to montford bridge? Judging by your name you come from wales? Go to www.hallsestateagents.co.uk and click agricultural then collective sales and you will get a choce of "forton" sale and "stone" sale forton is the montford bridge sale its just like a miniture cambridge there are 3 auctions going at the same time so if you can't run dont go the auctioneers swap at lunch time with the clerk so he sells for a few hours until the other auctioneer comes back it a really "wacky" day the next sale is on the 5th of may so dont miss it the ideal place if you want some new tools or a implement I got this idea if air is thicker when warm then it will find it harder to escape from the cylinders??? thus rising the compression ??? so i drilled 2 holes in the inlet manifold directly between every 2 inlet holes in the head so every 2 cylinders gets the same amount of "hot" air the plugs i got off an old daihatsu 4x4, fitted nice in the holes after threading them then i got a wire from the heat switch to the plugs and gave it a try and it worked not perfect but 2 times better than no heat DONT!!! use easy start with this contraption!!!!!! or the air cleaner will have flames coming through it the proper way is to take the head to an enginneer to drill holes in it and fit them like on diesel cars you can use the "silly-massey" thermostat pre heater but its useless69) it has the same idea as my contraption but 10 times more complicated nice to see another welsh man on this site i was getting loneley. why am i typeing in iaith y sais????
