Hi from Alberta Canada. I am dealing on a Zetor 12245 tractor. the dealer states it is 145hp. Is that right. I want to put a loader on it. Is it a good loader tractor? Any help is appreciated. thanks.

If it's got a turbo then its been upgraded to 145 , if not its 120
If we knew what you wanted to load with it we could advise better, but for general farm work you may find it a bit unhandy because its quite long, although its very stable. you would have to learn the knack of easily changing the l/h gearstick though !!

It would be very good for bale loading in the field, or silage heap packing. But for chores around the barn... It is a very long tractor and not very manoeuverable with a big loader on it...
But that also depends on how your farm is set up... Our barns were built in the time that my father had an 18 hp Deutz, so even with the 5245 and front loader, its already getting cramped to manouver...

Renze, Agreed. I have a loader on the 941, but we use a bobcat around the buildings.
