Jacking point 6711

This may be one of the daftest questions posted but are there proper jacking points to get the ass end in the air of my 6711 (duncan cab)?
Time to attack the brakes between rainclouds.
I will be using a trolley jack and i dont want to punch a hole in anything.
I'm guessing any sensible point where the rear hitch/ or cab mounting is fixed to the underside of the rear will be fine? and then an axle stand in the same place?

Hi Grumpy, as far as i can tell there is no "official Jacking point" i just pulled the whole front end of my 6745 to replace the pivot bushes, and the workshop manual just to take the weight under the engine! ..... as this is an alloy sump i was a little nervous! but with a big block of wood to spread the load all was well.
you would be better to use a bottle jack if you have one as trolley jacks tent to fight your position unless you are on nice smooth concrete floor......... and not on a gravel driveway like me.

Renze has commented on a few posts about doing the brakes and from memory he said to jack up the back as close to the portal as possible, and do one side at a time.
biggest problem is getting the axle stand in the same position as you had the jack! mostly i have to jack up somewhere else to then get the stand in the best place.
the arse end of the 7 series is pretty rugged, i don't think you will risk punching a whole in anything........ just don't do what my neighbour did on his international and try to jack up under the draw bar!!!....... bent the bar and smashed the mounting lug off the diff ... ooops!
