Man what a Nice tractor, takes some getting used to powershuttle after about 20 years of conventional clutch operated gear changes but i think Shuttle is here to stay for my part
Maby You can post some photos? What are first impressions? Are You not afraid of the DPF?
Zed, do you still operate an older UR3 or Forterra at the same farm ? especially then, it can be confusing when driving on your autopilot.. i know from a farmer who had two Deutz, one had the reverse group behind the field group, the other had the road group behind the field group... he went wrong so many times that eventually the rear wall fell out of the barn from slightly bumping it daily...
I just dont get why they built it that way anyhow... They could have let the 5th gear synchro collar slide in neutral on the clutch shaft instead of on the primary shaft, i cant imagine the friction losses of sliding the shift fork on the collar at engine speed, is substantially greater than the friction loss of the shift fork sliding at primary shaft speed... The increase in friction is negligible, but the drawback in ergonomy is substantial... Wrong concession, in my humble opinion..., but we all drive cars, so the confusion continues, my most frequent mistake is 1st to 4th, thinking I'm going second to third.
I see your point about disengaging 4wd braking below 5kmh when 4wd is off, if a hill is so critical that you need 4wd braking below 5kmh, you wouldnt have gotten up there without engaging 4wd anyways...Four wheel drive braking below 5 km/hr should be only when 4wd is selected so as lock is not restricted during yard work.
I'v had a few close shaves with the 4wd auto disengage above 18km/hr also.
OK that makes sense... it turns it off, but not back on again...
..yes but needs constant attention... who keeps an eye on blinking buttons all the time ?
Do you need to press the button each time you get above 18kmh, or once youve overridden the auto shutoff, it will stay on no matter how often you go below 15kmh or over 18kmh ?once you push the blinking button the 4wd stays on permanently. if you know you are going to use it for a long time also at speeds over 15 kmh just push the button, its that simple

Have a 2013 Zetor Forterra 135 it is much the same as the 140 I believe. It has given me nothing but hassle. The tractor has never worked properly. First issue was the dpf was blocked after about 50 -60 hours of operation. This was cleaned out by dealer, it lasted about 25 hours and failed again. Has anyone experianced this. Has been replaced with old system by dealer. After paying close on 4,000 euro extra for this day one it is not good enough. Have the tractor 9 months now and there has been nothing but trouble with it. The loader also has not worked properly comfort ride has never worked. Today tractor has failed to start yet again. I would advise staying well clear of zetor after this and I have always had one
